Shravan Arun is an architecture student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is an avid designer and writer that is fascinated by the nuances of the world. He created Leonder to provide people with an opportunity to witness the inbetweens of society and the unknowns of the environment. Although his writings are based on everyday life, they are also inspired by the likes of Yasunari Kawabata and Stuart Dybek.

Alongside Shravan’s passion for the written word, he is also interested in community-driven design, sustainability, and the role of architecture in social equity. Whether he is designing his next building or scribbling down another 100 words, he hopes that the experiences fostered will allow people to better understand the world around them. His words may illustrate stories, but he hopes that the stories within the words portray something much more. Just feel the weight between the words.
